Friends, hope everyone is well. Today we will discuss about how to create a low cost e-commerce site. Here we have used NameCheap as a hosting server and have taken a low cost package, you can get your hosting plan as you like. Here we discuss on how to create a complete e-commerce site using WordPress and woo-commerce. I also discussed you how to manage free SSL certificates for your domain. Hopefully by the end of the topic you will be able to create a full e-commerce website yourself. So let’s get started. Stay by the side, Thanks.
As mentioned earlier, we used NeemCheap here as a domain and hosting server. So when you buy a hosting package for a domain from NeemCheap, the domain is basically automatically connected to the hosting server. If not, then copy and paste the name server address to the right place(NameCheap Account>Domain List>Domain>Name server>Custom DNS) and then save. Maybe it will take some time but it will connect.
SSL Certificate: This is an important topic in this tutorial. However, if your domain does not have SSL certificates, HTTP will show the error, which means unsafe. So having your SSL Certificate or HTTP Ability is required for your domain. So, let’s get the free SSL certification. You can also install SSL certificates via WordPress plugin that are not shown here, which I will show you in another discussion. If you purchased the domain from NameCheap, you can easily install SSL Certificate for your domain for free. To install the SSL certificate for free, go ahead and activate the SSL certificate (C-Panel>NameCheap SSL>Installed via plugin>Installed and activate for your domain).
It’s good to say that SSL certificates can take quite a while to activate, and sometimes it can take up to a day for your domain to be fully functional HTTPS. Thanks.
